Colorado SSR

I was looking at ColoradoSSR’s Admin screen and noticed the site was getting some traffic from Google earlier this week. This surprised me, and I decided to check it out. It turns out this site is now the first one to list with the search terms “Colorado SSR” – which is very exciting! I hadn’t counted on getting traffic to the site so quickly from outside the SSR Fanatic forum – for those of you who have stumbled upon this site with a Google search, welcome! I encourage you to click on the “SSR Fanatic” link and link up with the rest of us on the forum, or at least read the threads for answers to common SSR questions. You will not find a finer, more helpful bunch of car enthusiasts than the SSR Fanatics.

Speaking of Colorado SSR – I’ve been working on yet another look for the website, and I hope to unveil it very soon.

There’s less than 2 months to go before our first Colorado SSR get-together! We are very excited to see some of our old SSR friends and meet some new ones! Putting the rally together has been great fun for not only John and I, but our family as well. We’ve loaded up our trusty family-mobile, our Impala and shared our research trips with our daughter and Grandpa. We’ll be sharing some of the cool things we’ve found in the area over the next few weeks until the Rally.

With the exception of a couple registrations I need to verify, invoices for the 2007 Colorado SSR rally have been sent to the primary email addresses you used in your registration. I used PayPal to generate the invoices, but you don’t have to use PayPal if you don’t want to. If you would rather mail your payment, just print the emailed invoice (so I can match it to your registration) and send it to me with your payment at the address listed in the invoice.

Using the same firm Lloyd used for the Springfield Super Rally, I’ve ordered the patches for the Colorado rally. The patch size is roughly 2 1/2″ by 4 1/2″. Registered attendees get one, and the remainder will be for sale at $3 each.

OK, at long last the registration form is complete, ready for you to register for the event. Please note no money or payment is needed to register – I will be contacting registrants shortly with an invoice for their particular registration. You will have an option to pay via PayPal, or simply print the invoice and mail in a check.

I’m really excited about our dinner venue on Saturday – we will be having a barbeque buffet in the mountains just south of Estes Park. Longs Peak and Mt. Meeker is within view, and with fall color and typical early fall Colorado weather it should be a gorgeous evening.

Lori and I are now working on putting together the info packets. Please be sure to let us know where you are staying in the Registration form (there is a select box for it) so we can customize maps for your lodging location.
